From the moment I laid eyes on a camera to where I am now, my passion for photography has only grown. I am dedicated to my clients, not just treating them as another customer, but as family. I see to it that the photos that you receive will be photos that you will look back on time and time again. Photography is instrumental in our recollection of memories throughout our lives. How it all began...
Growing up in a small town in Southeastern Massachusetts, I was your typical kid, rambunctious, highly observant, and always on the move. I however, had dreams of helping and changing the lives of those around me; I just had to figure out how. I was diagnosed with ADHD at a very young age, being picked on throughout school for my impetuousness and lack of focus; was not easy. Coincidentally, I found an outlet for this through photography. Taking pictures allowed me to see things that many overlooked. Photography allowed myself to capture all of the things I saw, as quickly as I saw them.
After high school, I attended a small college in Putney, Vermont known as Landmark College where I would work alongside Jen Morris & Tom Kosiba and develop my skills in both digital and film photography. After graduating with my Associates in Arts, I continued my path in photography at Fitchburg State University where I met my greatest mentor, Peter Laytin a long time photographer and teacher at Fitchburg State. While at Fitchburg I took countless courses, ranging from large and medium format, to 35mm and digital photography. There were many late nights studying text and perfecting my portfolio. After having my photos displayed in the 2016 Visions Exhibition, I knew this was truly what I wanted. After a few years of constant practice and studying, and help from friends, family and professors, I graduated with my Bachelors of Science/ Arts Communications with a Concentration in Photography though this was not the end of my education. I immediately jumped into an internship with Hudson Photography in North Easton, Massachusetts capturing and editing photos of the biggest moments of someones life, Weddings.
I still shoot lifestyle & product photography but I primarily have been focusing my energy on wedding photography. Every time I lift my camera, I'm reminded of the joy I felt when I first discovered the one thing that I am most passionate about and I try to convey that passion in every photo I capture.
